We are excited to launch the Absolute One compact version. Don’t let the compact size fool you, this guy is ready to be your daily workhouse. You’ll notice high quality components right out of the package. The Titanium 3.7 inch handles enclose the stonewashed drop point blade made of Bohler’s M390 super high grade steel. The opening mechanism begins with a simple flip launched by the slight push of a finger and controlled by a ceramic ball bearing system. The blade secures via its Titanium frame lock and is finished with a Titanium pocket clip (tip up).

BLADE MATERIAL – M390 (Bohler-Uddeholm)

M390 is considered by many on the market to be a super steel due to its excellent corrosion / stain resistance and wonderful hardness / high wear resistance. It’s produced via a third generation powder metal technology and can reach a 60-62 HRC. Bohler calls this steel “Microclean” and it can be polished to a mirror finish. Like many hard steels, the tradeoff on this steel’s most excellent blade retention is that it can be moderately difficult to sharpen, but just moderate. Due to all these fine qualities you can commonly find this used in not only custom knives around the world, but it’s also extremely popular in surgical applications.

HANDLE MATERIAL -Titanium

We use titanium in many of our handles, clips, and liner and frame locking materials. We value it for 3 main advantages: Strength, appearance, and light weight. When combining the full formula of those three advantages it results in what we believe is the best way to encapsulate and support our most premium folders.
