I’ve used ear plugs of all kinds, normal ear muffs and a number of electronic ear muffs. But the Peltor Sportac Electronic’s are the BEST I have ever come across. all of the other electronic models I’ve used when shooting etc, tend to shut off when the shot is taken, then come back on again a second or two later. The Sportac cuts out the damaging high frequency, but still lets you hear what’s going on around you.
